My first call for my 08 Street Glide was $19,800. My initial trade was valued at $9,500. That is a trade-difference of $10,300. After hanging up on the guy (twice) and bitchin to the sales manager about crappy customer service and how hard it was to take my money... I secured the deal for $6,500.
I had about 4 dealers competing. I don't mind driving 100 miles or even 300 miles to save a few thousand.
