i have the harley set up the one that mounts by the oil filter. keep getting a leak, where can i get a sending unit ? so i can relocate to the oil pan, thanks.
I believe it is the same sending unit. You should be able to take that sender off by the filter and replace the hose then move the sender to the bottom of the pan.
I have the HD sender mounter there and it works great.
I do know that the sender and wiring loom cost a pretty penny. I bought a used HS gauge on Ebay to same money. Ended up costing the same amount that the HD kit cost.
Have you seen the latest "Shoptalk" from HD? They now sell a kit to mount the gauge in the pan. All of us on the forum have been doing it that way for years!
i thought i was able to use the sending unit that i had but was not sure.when im ready to change the oil im gonna remove that thing by my oil filter.for some reason it keeps leaking.
