1995 is the second to last year of the frame. It changed in 1997. The rear brake master cylinder is still inside the frame. None of the brake petal extensions will work. Almost all accessory parts are for 1997 or later. I have seen some for less, but if in good shape and everything works (Cruise, CB, Intercom, Radio, speakers) and Ultra parts are included, it is what most are selling for.

Go for a 97 and up, there are so many things you can interchange on those newer years that you just can't on a 95 or 96, mine is the 96. There are things I have to do without because of it.

I had a 1995 Ultra and I think it was better than my 2001 Ultra. But it was a carbed bike. The bike you are looking at is one of the first years of the first generation Magnetti-Marelli FI systems. They had a lot of things to work out on those early FI bikes before they dumped it and went with Delphi FI.

As described above there are arguably better choices...

1996+ new faring style
1997+ new frame
2001- FI system considered inferior

As compared to a 2000 bike the front single pot brakes are not adaquate but can be upgraded.

In the 90s I would suggest to stay with a 97+ bike because of the new frame and availability of various parts. The FI system can be converted to a carb so that's not much of an issue.
