Well, rethinking my pipes since I found out Hard Krome doesn't make the T Rex for my older 1998 FLHRCI, but they do make the 3" duals, no clsue as to how they differ.
So...considering the Vh Big SHot Duals instead. They look great too. How's the low rumble, all I know is I need ot be abel to crack them at will as well. Would I gain any torque? Also adding PCIII and filter when I do this (like this week!).
Thanks for any and all comments.
I've got them on my '05 RKC. I think they look great and sound better. I also put the quiet baffles in, they are still plenty loud but now a bit deeper.
I've got the SERT on mine. The guy that tuned it said the power increase wasn't as good as he had hoped but still good. All I know is that it's much stronger than it was when I had SE slipons and the Stage 1 download.
Cool guys! Think I'll order up. I got my bike with a Stage 1, btu it pops on decel and such. I figure with the Big Sucker, these pipes, and PCIII, I shoudl get enoguh difference ot notice. Then a little later I plan to have it dynoed after riding the canned map for awhile.
Any idea or how much you can tell a difference in performance or sound?
Also, if I add fishtails later, will I have to retune?
Just to add a question to this. Which are deeper sounding, the V&H Big Shot Duals or Rineharts? I want a deep note, not a metallic note. Trying to stay with duals, but up in the air about the 2 brands.
Placed my order today seeing as my fiasco with the T-rex is coming to an end. Ordered from Eastern Performance so hope all goes well. Does anyone know if these have their own head mounting flanges or do you reuse the stock ones as with the t-rex?
