I just made a couple upgrades to my 07 ultra. First I put on a Bagger Brace. I have only experienced a wobble a couple times and always questioned if it was really be worth the money for a Bagger Brace. A good friend of my put one on his bike and really talked it up so I decided to get one myself. I CANNOT believe the difference, it feels like a different bike. My bike is more stable around every corner, I now feel as comfortable in corners on my Ultra as I use to on my sport bike.
My second upgrade was a PC-V purchased from Fuel Moto. I don't have many miles on it yet but I can feel the difference in power. I am going through the gears much faster and the bike is running much cooler. As soon as the novelty of the extra power wears off and I quit pounding the throttle, I will see if there is a difference in gas mileage.
These two changes make my Ultra feel like a new bike. So, those are my experiences, I hope it helps some of you out.
Same here. I added the PCV w/AT first then the bagger brace. Both were well worth the money. Those 2 upgrades along with the rider backrest are the best things I have done to my bike.
I have the Bagger Brace and it really is one of the best mods I've put on my bike! Tracks like a champ and I feel 1,000 times better in the corners. I would imagine they are all the same, but I chose the Bagger Brace based on the recommendations in this forum.
IMO, the brace makes any bike without one feel like it is running with low air pressure in the rear tire. The bike is just so much more stable in the corner with the brace. My friend who has a street glide without a brace took my ultra for a ride last weekend and couldn't believe the difference.
