Bimmer or Gold Wing!! psych - it should be a 96 CID Harley. I thought a SG = Street Glide was a touring bike? Or did you mean Super Glide?

I can get awful lot for a Road King for the $5000 CA difference in price it would take to move to an Ultra.

Of course, everyone is going to defend their current model of choice.

Even though I don't own one at this point anyway, the road glide, if set up properly for touring wins hands down no contest!

I did like the Street Glide but after a 3600 mi trip I just needed more. I took a ride on a 09 Ultra yesterday and I must say the fit was perfect very comfortable. Could use some upgrades in the sound system but other than that great bike.

I've got a Road King Classic but if I could afford it, I would be riding an Ultra Classic.

I test drove the Road Glide and Ultra Classic before purchase. You should drive both in the wind. I have a Road Glide which I'm building into a nice touring bike, as $$$ allows. If you are getting a new bike, price out getting a RG with all the stuff you want and what it would cost to get an Ultra Classic. You will have a great time with either.

I have the RKC and for versatility I dont think it can be beat. But If all I was going to do on the bike was ride long distance I woulda bought an Ultra hands down.
