Fuel Moto PC-V Installation Problems
Okay, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, I just got my PC-V today. I've hooked everything up, turned on the ignition, and run switch. Fuel Injection make a really weird sound, the power light is on, but the status light is red. I was afraid to try to crank it. Is this right? Should the status light be green or something? Also, do you have to hook it up to the software prior to cranking. Nothing in my instructions told me to do so. 
I've got a bike ride this weekend, so I really want to get this resolved and have time to ride a little before the trip.
Any advise!!! Too late to call FM, as they are closed!

Status light is normally off. I'd check the connectors making sure no bent pins and reseat them. Did you unplug the O2 sensors and plug in the supplied resistor plugs from FM. Jamie loads the map so not absolutely necessary you hook up a laptop to it.

Finished off the upgrade tonight. Added the V&H Drak AC, got everything buttoned back up and took off for a spin....
Quite a difference, I must say. Bike seemed crisper on the throttle, a little more "gitty up" and ran so much cooler than before.
Will be taking a long ride this weekend into the mountains, so it will be interesting to see how things go over the long haul, but I expect to have a smile on my face!

glad to hear that you figured it out. good for you, ride safe now. my fuel mileage went down, and i'm trying to decide if i want to remove the pcv from my 08. i preferred the conservative power rather than the poor fuel economy. just my observation, your results may vary.
