it actually pisses me off when someone else turns my bike off using the kill switch. like when i get work done at the harley shop. i only use the ignition switch. never the run/kill switch. i think that switch is there for those who were used to riding jap bikes. seems like it's always the younger riders who use it. good for them. when i go to harley to pick my bike up when i have some work done to it, and the run/kill switch is turned to the kill side, i'll sit there and my g'damm bike won't start. what the hell is wrong now i get ta thinking. then i realize some idiot used the kill switch rather than the ign switch to turn off my bike.
KILL SWITCH? I don't need no stinking kill switch. I don't use no stinking kill switch. When I started riding Harleys there was no such thing as a stinking kill switch. Ignition switch kills it all.
2004 Ultra fuel injected do i really need to use the kill switch to shut off the bike or is just using the Ignition switch good enough? does using just the ignition switch hurt anything??
I would be willing to bet its is becuase the kill switch turns off the fuel to the injector. So yon have no unburn't fuel in the cylinders when you turn off the Ing
