Default Kill Switch or Ignition Switch ?

2004 Ultra fuel injected do i really need to use the kill switch to shut off the bike or is just using the Ignition switch good enough? does using just the ignition switch hurt anything??

your choice but some insiste they use the run switch everytime so it will be a habbit in an emergency bs in a emergency i grabb a handfull of clutch i like the motor there if i need to use it a second later.

Just out of habit I use the run/kill switch then I turn off the ignition switch.

The only time I use the kill switch is to make sure it still works.

I never use the kill switch. Never, ever.

The guy that instructed me in the various switches etc..when I bought my bike stated that I should alwys use the kill switch to shut it off, then turn off the ignition. Don't know what the difference is.

It depends on the situation. If I need to hold the front brake I use the run/kill switch. All of the other times I use the ignition switch. Both work just fine in my opinion.
