PC III USB error msg

PC III USB error msg
Folks - I loaded a new map from Jamie and am showing a error msg on screen. Emailed Jamie, but want to ride today.
Anyways, the pcIII screen is showing a device error - 39.
Has anyone else run up on this problem? Any suggestions/fixes?

Make sure you are using a brand new 9v battery to power up the PC. Did the new map you acquired load into the PC files as a .djm?
Make sure your cable is fully plugged into both the computer and PC, You can also try rebboting your computer.
But I know you have done this already, right?

Thanks for the assist. Broke everything down again, re-hooked it all back up, works fine now. I think the method of hook up has to be in a certain order.? Everything looks fine now on the screen, zeroed the throttle, looks good.
When you do this once every 2 years, the memory isn't on tap at my age. Now if you ask me about the cute girl that used to live down the street from me years ago, and what we got up to, that's a different story best told in the showdown forum some day......LOL
