I'm going up. Should arrive on Friday. It's been several years since I last went. The best I remember there were t Shirt and war related items. Seems like there were vendors at the local Harley Dealership, but I can't remember what they had.

What Lype said. The only vendors you'll see across from the Vietnam Memorial will be selling t-shirts, leathers, sunglasses, pins, patches, and food.

Its not really a vendor type event - there will be thousands of bikes, there are food vendors to some extent at the Pentagon Parking lot.... bring water as the staging can be very long - hours, supposed to be warm.

It is an amazing event to be part of and and to watch -

Few vendors at Thunder Alley. Mostly food and trinkets. Ft. Washington Harley had some outside vendors but nothing to really challenge the dealership. It's not a swap meet or like bike week. It's a time to say "we remember you and we thank you".

You won't forget the experience. Just take drinks and snacks to the Pentagon. OH yeah, Uncle Sugar will take your picture while you're there too! They're not hard to pick out of the crowd.

We'll be leaving Friday for DC

Yea Rolling Thunder was a blast.... thousands of bikes everywhere and people riding everywhere all day in all directions... it was nice to just jump in a small pack and ride.

The city seemed very open to all the bikes/bikers.... hell you could even park up on the sidewalks near the museums and nobody cared (you wont get away with that any other time of the year).......

I bought a nice leather coat for less than $100

Saw alot of nice patriotic folks'
