Is your auto volume control on? try playing with that...turn it off...I think i saw somebody mention that before.

Default 09 Street Glide radio issue

I have the 09 Street Glide with a display on the radio goes blank, unable to see the text. All other functions work fine when the display blanks. Thoughts?

Check to see if you mistakenly turned the contrast down. It can be turned down enough that the screen goes blank.

Can only be turned down to "blank" with the original 6.8 software. 07 and newer will not go blank with a contrast adjust.

I've just installed the ipod interface and downloaded the software for the update & the ipod update and all I get on the radio face id "verifying dsp image" and it does nothing else. Have tried re-burning the files to a cd and still no dice. Any thoughts

I don't have the link handy but I recall Hog Tunes offers some tips on installing updates in their technology section.

Mine won't update either...get the "verifying DSP image" message and thats it. I'm just leaving it alone. I'm going with the old "if it aint broke, dont fix it" method.

You have to burn the CD at a 2X rate and make sure you close the session so that the CD cannot accept any more files and it will work. Also make sure you burn the files on a CD vice DVD media.

if it's normal, then ask them to show you on another bike. if they get another bike (or 2) that doesn't do it, then you've just shown them, it's not normal.....
