Just curious here, what setting ( high, medium, or low) do you PC III'ers mostly use. I have a friend that has 95', cammed with the PC III and every time he tries me at the light I bust his a$$. I'm running a stock 88 with a SERT and SE slip ons on a EGC. He WILL run me down in 5th gear at WOT on the interstate but he's playing some hard catch up. Just wondering here.
Sounds to me like his cams don't match his Bore. No low end TQ. Thus why you beat him off the line. He runs you down the highway becasue he has more high end Torque than you do, thus more horsepower. But it probabbly doesn't kick in until 3.5 - 4k RPM.
I just bought one from Eastern Performance Cycles. Give them a call for a price...... Im frugal also.....
I just recieved the Rineharts, PCIII and Big Sucker...... the only map from Power Commander for stock ECM is all but with a SE air. Close enough until I get it dynoed.... Im not installing until after the 1k service and that will be tuesday.... If someone has a map including the big sucker hint hint....
Go with the SERT I'm basis. I haven't had any problem with mines My buddy has a PCIII and it driving him crazy. However I heard good thing about bout devices.

Arlen Ness basically copied the SE air cleaner for the Big Sucker. It has essentially the same flow characteristics. The map with the SE filter should be just fine.

It's best to get a custom map. The high, medium, and low settings are very rough settings. If you are going to get a new one try fuelmoto, they will preload your map based on the mods you have had done. Their maps are pretty close. Their price is 250 to 300 range. Good enough to hold you till you can get a good dyno tuner, I would use a recommended tuner from their (PC) website.
Last night I installed my new Trex True Duels, SE A/C and PCIII. My RKC sounds great and looks great, however there is a slight amount of popping. I can count on both hands how many times i heard these small pops during my hour ride. I plan to get a dyno within a few weeks. You guys think its ok to ride until then? What do these little pops mean?
