I have a set of brand new Rush 2.25" slash cuts for sale - only 15 miles on them. They are in perfect condition - not a scratch on them. I'll sell them for $225, and I'll pay the shipping. Let me know if you are interested.

Here's a picture of the Rush mufflers that I'm selling in case anyone's interested. As you can see they are like new and still in the original box. They only have 15 miles on them!
I am leaning towards the 2.5 dia. Why did you choose the 2.25 instead of the 2.5? Is there much sound difference? I would think the 2.5 may be deeper sounding, just my guess.

The 2.25" has a very deep sound. I doubt that the 2.5" sounds much deeper. They offer 4 sizes - 1.75", 2.0", 2.25" and 2.5". 2.25" seemed like a reasonable choice. Besides which, I knew that I could always simply replace the baffles later on if I wanted. Rush only charges $50 for the baffles.
C'mon guys! You can get a set of slip-on mufflers from www.rollingthunderpipes.com in all the different baffle sizes and styles for $199.00 shipping included. Why in the h--- would you pay more for the rush, or any other mufflers?? I have a set on my 05 Ultra and they are great!

Because some mufflers sound like junk. Do you REALLY think that all mufflers sound the same? Please.......
