Thanks for the link. Wonder if HD is making lowers for the SG's new engine guard? Sticker tape outline flames are cheezy. My 02 FXDWG3 sticker flames looked better. HDfor sure didn't spend much on the SG from last years RG. I do like the color combo's better than in years past...no brite yeller' and orange. The Silver SERG for 09 looked MUCH better. I'll be keeping my 08' SG. ohhhh and no water cooling? Guess ya have to ride in the rain if you want water cooling on a HD touring,lol..
Wonder why they didn't put the new hinges on the TP. Guess you gotta leave something for even a CVO buyer to do Oh and adjustable lumbar support, cool.
That Softail looks like a mix of a Fat Boy and Softail Custom. And I was expecting so much more with the Street Glide. But that tour pak is sharp.
You and me both! 90% of the SG's on this site are better moded and look cooler than the CVO version. Guess I need to see the CVO up close...
Looking again, they painted the cow bells and lower fairing but left the fork sliders chrome = yuck.
The bike has tacky-*** flame pin striping all over the bike that you could get at any rally for 100 bucks = yuck.
The extended bags are all one piece now = better.
Not too impressed with the Street Glide. If they would have done one in Black an Orange like the '09 RG, I would be writing a very large check this year.
I am not impressed with the SG, really disappointed!! They could have done it up right. From the 2 pics on paint, it doesn't look like anything special to me. I think mine looks more custom.
