You and me both! 90% of the SG's on this site are better moded and look cooler than the CVO version. Guess I need to see the CVO up close...
lp
I'm wondering if they did anything different on the rear fender from the regular SG. I do like the painted cowbells though. But you are right. Many members on here have done a much better job. And for alot less $$$.
HRLYSG: The engine is gunmetal. That is what they have been doing with the CVO bikes since 2007.

"A combination of subtle changes to the bodywork set the 2010 CVO Street Glide apart from its OE counterpart. The front fender has been tucked in tighter and trimmed up slightly. The one-piece, injection-molded saddlebags are a tad roomier inside and have cleanly incorporated color-matched fascia panels that fill in the gaps between the hard, extended saddlebags and rear fender. These panels house the LED stop/tail/turn signals, which run vertically on each side of the rear fender. And the mustache engine guard now comes with a new rubber pad, so you can kick up your feet a little more comfortably on long hauls."

In the article, they describe what is basically the SERG rear... if you look closely at the picture of the blue one, you can just see the tip of the license plate holder like the SERG... its amazing to me that neither in the video, nor in the article do they have a picture of the rear end?
Isn't a heritage just as fast to convert to a cruiser? That little fairing isn't going to do much. Wouldn't you think they would go to a removable proper batwing such as a HOPPE or DRAGONFLY or something?

Well I guess if I had read instead of just looking at the pictures.
I'm so glad that I'm disappointed (as is almost everyone else) with the SESG. Makes me not regret trading from my 08 SG to 09 SG. I also agree, there are some much nicer SG's on here than they came up with. Looks like a last minute kind of job. But I'm sure they'll still sell like anything.
Thanks for the link. Even if HD brought out a CVO Vespa, I'd never be able to justify kind of $$ they ask for them. But, the new paint is always the best part of watching them roll out these new bikes.
