long way from '',all those in the know '' and the model prophets had projected as the ultra tourer glide
Kind of disappointed in the color selection too...
Black or Red...I'd like to see some two tones...Blues and silvers..
Sometimes they come out with a new model or two or
additional colors in Oct. or Nov.... hope so..
Still looking for a Tour Glide...

welllllllll they cleaned up the rear end, nicer wheels, no more **** swoosh decal, cleaner looking headlights, plus they fixed the 5th gear. nicer floorboards gotta admit it's less fuglier
it just looks like they forgot to put the taillight on it to me. also, they should have used a new left side saddlebag support hoop, the strap for the exhaust mount hanging down there looks like crap. other than that looks good. surprised at the limited color options, my guess is a mid year expansion on that.
Yikes ! Took away a pipe, took away the taillight, took off the plexi headlight cap (which some of us had done way back) and lowered it to match the street glide. All of these parts missing for the small sum of another $500 price increase.
Feeling lucky to have my current Road Glide (with all the parts still on her.)
HD did the same to the Street Glide. Single pipe. Oh, and HD left the bracket intact on both bikes. I guess dual pipes is now an upgrade.
And, is anyone considering the new need of ADDING AFTERMARKET a windshield for long trips???? It no longer comes with one. I'll be interested to see how this plays out in the coming weeks. If any of you are looking to buy a RG or SG, I'd get an '09. You can do the EXACT mods for so much less, AND have a windshield and extra pipe to boot.

Really? I don't see how you could change your front end to an 18" wheel for less than the $500 price difference. Let alone, add a 2into1 header system, colormatched sbag latches, clean up the rear end and other stuff. If you don't like it, fine, but you can't do the EXACT same mods for so much less.
