don't forget the passenger pegs, no more ugly *** floor boards

Also ....lowered suspension, SG seat, new headlight fascia, new windshield, pass pegs instead of boards, no "tailight"

Fair enough (if you are hiring a stealer to do the work) Not really sure why the extra inch on the front wheel would make a difference. I didn't even notice it until the reply comment. (It is now the exact same as the Street Glide's) And, don't even ask my friend how those wheels on his 08 Street Glide deflect wind. He HATES them. And as for the windshield? Are you kidding me? What windshield? And, are you really liking the single exhaust? Especially since Harley chose to leave the other bracket firmly mounted under the left saddlebag. Yikes.

Guess it's a matter of taste, but it seems to me that everyone is still "straws in the kool aid." Just don't tell me this bike didn't save Harley some money in production. I won't buy your excuses. No way. Less parts, more like a Street Glide. All of this saves money. Why the extra 5 bills then ???

To each his own I suppose...

If it were me, and I was holding-out to see the 2010 Road Glide, I would be calling around today locating me an '09.

...oh, and my wife would kill you for taking away her rear floorboards... More savings from the factory...

I like it for what it is,a sporty version of the Road Glide, hence the name, but I do like mine better. I agree about the floorboards, you take them away and my wife would not like it. I like the small shield for round town, but give me the H-D tall for trips.I too would like to have more color options. If you want a street glide with a 2-1 exhaust and a RG fairing here ya go,but it is NOT a touring bike like it sets. JMHO

No one is kidding you.

You're just making the exact same "consipiracy theory" type argument that nearly everyone not into HD styling cues have been making since HD came out with the SG. Why pay more for less... we get it. Nothing new there. So why?...cause less looks better in this case. Get with it man! All bikes should look like SGs!

Have you ever tried to make an Ultra or Electra Glide into a Street glide? It cost a ton of money to get the same results. Most of us find somewhere in between because of this cost. Paying a 500 premium to get all that SG-ish junk on our bikes would be something more than a few of us would pay three times over. Because most that HAVE tried to convert a bike have payed 10 times over in the effort...

Why would HD remove the exhaust hanger on the left side in the first place. What if someone wanted to remove the 2-1 and go with true duals? Would suck to have to buy a new set of bag supports just to have hanger on the left side. So thanks HD. Nice to have the option. Yikes!

Extra inches on the front Rim... yeah nobody is motivated by a larger tire on the front. Seriously? Where you been? People are putting 26" rims on these bikes now! Crazy!

The SG pegs and mount cost more than the everyday floorboards you can get for a 100 bucks about anywhere. I hear there are actually gas stations that give them away free when you fill your tank up 10 times. Actually, I think Bi Lo has a coupon for free passenger floorboards.

Personally, yeah they did a great job with the Road Glide Custom the bastards. Now I want one. I got 500 bucks.

If MOCO had come out with this bike last year, I'm pretty sure I would own it now because I wanted the SG with a RG Fairing. I think it will be a hot seller.

I like the new 2010 roadglide i intend to buy one sometime this season. i like the streetglide style on the road glide similar to the original road king custom they discontinued. i also like how they cleaned up the rear fender. i am not sure about the exhaust but i always change them anyways.
