Why not a 135" liquid cooled v-twin with ~120hp/~150lbs torque?
Harley's used to be the heavy-weights. Now they are barely middle-weights.
If Harley went to a really big inch motor with a water jacket, we, the riders would get the benefits of 50+ years of cruiser/touring experience with modern arm-wrenching power. The Goldwing would be a thing of the history - HD is the king.
Put the v-rod in a touring bike AND a canyon carver. The cross/species cruiser/sport frame is (IMNSHO) lunacy.
Give us the "Big Kahuna" - good god, Kawasaki and Triumph are way out there on heavy-weights.

As it is the V-Rod puts out 120hp with a motor that is only approximately 76 cu in. Given that the Big Twin motors are 96 cu in, if HD went to a 135 cu in and it still only put out 120hp, I'd say there's something wrong. I think the solution as you suggested would be to use the Revolution (V-rod) motor across the line in all the models, like the TC 96 is now. It's a smaller motor that develops more power and is more efficient.
