I guess I don't care. There is nothing there that makes me want to trade my 08 in. Its just new colors with the models I care about. 96ci is more then enough power for my needs and I am not going to loose $$ to have a different color.
As I said in another thread. If I was looking to buy a touring rig right now I would be looking at a leftover or used.
Sort'a makes those who already bought the improved 2009s look like geniuses, right? That was bang for the buck. There isn't a 2010 I would crave except possibly the CVO Ultra.
I like the Ultra Limited also with the blue/wht. Hopefully HD will have a trade-up program similar to the sportster where a man with an '08 Ultra can trade into a '10 limited getting full msrp on the '08. Then, I am a trading.
It's disappointing thought there would be more exciting news. Im only Interested in the Ultra Special Edition with the 103"" motor. Like someone else said the people that bought the 09's got the best bang for their buck!!!!
I don't think people will be running to the dealer and trading in an 08 or 09 for the 10's like everyone did when the revamped 09 came out.
I have an 08 Electra Glide Classic with 10K on it and I wish I would have done it different, I mean gotten a different color, Black is a B*tc* and I miss ABS? I think!!
Last time I went to the dealer to trade in 3 months ago he wanted to give me 14K for my bike as a trade in on a 09 Ultra that had 3K on it it came out to 7K and my bike, ouch I ran the eff out of there. In fact just went to the same dealers Service Manager to inquire about 10K Service and they want $450.00!!!!!! are they doing drugs? Two other NJ dealers want $250 ????
The MOCO is gonna have a rough year trying to convince people to upgrade, as there are less selling dealers and fewer bikes being built the dealers are gonna hold onto the new bikes and look to get top dollar for them! Then next year at this time people will hold off on buying an 2010 to wait for the 2011 models that the MOCO will again change the whole bike maybe water cooled, and the stealers will have a huge inventory of 2010's they will want to unload!!! Nobody will buy them because the 2011 are changed, Maybe Ill wait till the end of the year, or next July and get a deal on a leftover 2010 that no one wants because the 2011 is water cooled??????? A vicious cycle!!!LOL ????
Thanks Bill

We will see over the long-term on that one.
I think the only 2010 that would have sparked a little interest for me (not enough to trade) would have been the RG Ultra. But that one didn't happen. Makes me kinda wonder if that will be a mid-year slip in.
gotta say, I'm glad I just purchased my Road Glide. Really not a fan of the new changes. Call me strange but I think the tour bikes look more balanced from the backside with two pipes. I am glad to see that they didn't discontinue the RG as I had heard rumors there were going to.
