Default Headphone jack on the Ultra?

Thanks for reading...

I ride with ear plugs, and listen to XM on my present ride. Does the Ultra's radio have a place I can plug into and listen to the radio?

Thanks in advance!

yes, but... you have to use Harley's headphone setup, and it ain't cheap. The good news is it's really a good system, sounds great.

There are other aftermarket setups also, like J&M, but they ain't cheap either and even though they say they sound better than the Harley setup, they don't.

Default XM

Just patch your XM into the AUX port and listen away. I came from J & M to the Harley headsets. Yes, they are much better for sound and also much better to fit into helmets.

Ok...I think I got it....

There seems to be some sort of jack, south of the gas cap...is this where you plug in the headset?

You Tube videos are a life saver...

yep, and there's an aux input on the front of the radio. I use it to plug my Sirius radio into. And, I forgot, but you get one set of the headphones when you buy the Ultra, at least I did. I bought another set for the passenger and it was around $160.

There is an adapter I found to plug ear buds directly into the headset plug. It works great. I'll see if I can find the link and put it up for you.

Is there an adapter that allows me to continue using the harley headset/intercom but also allows me to hook up an 1/8 inch earphone?
