+1 for Mean City Cycles. My father in law had his done a little over a month ago and is very happy. A basic reshape is $40, can't beat the price, and you can go into memory foam and custom seat covers as your comfort and check book will allow. Very good service and delivered exactly what they promised. Mine will be going there as well.

Just be patient, Allen will return shortly and be taking orders again.
I had my seat on my 07 ultra, over 30,000 miles now and we (my wife and I) still love it.

Had it lowered 2 inches move me forward 1.5 inches and had the sides cut with memory foam.

You better staple, dont think the hot glue will hold under the stress.

I have a Mustang so it was all riveted. I did my buddies, stock EGC seat and was stapled and I put it back like that. I would not glue.

Rixida I had MCC work on my 09 EGC seat, they can't lower it much due to new style seat pan but was able to narrrow the nose some. It helped me get in touch with the ground better but didn't help me with comfort. I would like to get back to stock. We might be able to work out a swap saving us both some $$$. I had the $100 rider and the $75 passenger pad mod. done. If you have a comfort stitch seat and are interested drop me a private message.

My buddy had the same problem on his 09 Ultra. On the 09's they can dush it out a bit, not as much as earlier ones. And they can narrow which is the real diff between the 08 and 09. Buddie has a 30" inseam and can now flat foot. Call them now to set up an appointment, see their site, Have to have a appointment which is good for your turn around time.

It isn't that the 09 is taller. The frame is wider at the basket area which makes it harder to flat foot. And seats with a wide pan make it worse. I found this out when I bought a Sundowner and had MCC mod it. I took it an inch lower and narrowed the sides but still couldn't flat foot it because the pan is wide and hits me right in the thighs. I'm looking at Mustang seats now because the are very narrow at the nose and the pan is more narrow. May try a Sport Touring and see if MCC can shave it down an inch or so.
