I just got the wrong levers since pre 08's take a different ones and I must have given the wrong part # over the phone. The guy never asked me what year and wasn't too sharp, now I have to pay freight to get them back naturally but they will deduct the orignal free freight fr. the credit. If I wanted to exchange them they will add the orginal free freight plus additional freight to ship out the new ones. So Free Shipping can come back to bite you if someone makes a mistake.
I had to exchange something fr. Dennis Kirk and the only freight I paid was to get them back. They don't deduct freight fr. the credit on returns either.
Yes I try to get the part # right but somtimes **** happens.
Call em. They are some pretty good folks. I've bought a bunch of crap from them, especially when I was in No. VA. I'll bet they'll work something out with you. It's worth a shot.

Yea, I did to get the rma #. They would ship the new levers out for $4 plus charge me something like 7.95 for the first free shipping and I just paid $8.70 to get them back so I just returned them and will deal with others . Might as well bought the 62.95 Boss Levers at the dealer. I just screwed up not realizing I had the part # for 08's and up.

He's the one that ain't too sharp? Maybe he didn't ask the year 'cause you gave him a part # for an '08+...maybe he figured you knew what year bike you had?

Why should it cost them additional shipping instead of you, when it was your mistake?

Everything I've gotten from EP has a bright pink cover letter stating their return policy about opened merchandise.
