I posted on here about the belt on my Ultra slipping because I didn't get it tight enough. I ruined the belt. I asked for help and if anyone had a used one to sell. A few guys checked ebay and found just the one I needed and thank you for the help. Gabulldog pm me and offered a belt at a great price. Thanks Gary. I don't post alot on here but I read almost everything. This forum is a great source for info and even if you ask a dumb question you don't get beat up to bad. Thanks for all the help. Phi

I needed a adjustable backrest!Funds are tight so i thought doesn't hurt to ask.....After a few flames from other members,a guy sold me a new one (Said it had 150 miles on it...I think 10 miles)for $125.00 shipped to my door...Im a Happy camper!!

Yep, been pretty great for me also. I've been riding for a long time but am new to HD within the last year so there is a LOT to learn. I spent the first several months I was here (before I got my first bike) just reading and learning, then once I got my first bike I started joining in. I've been stomped on a few times for asking stupid questions, but I learned from that also.

i also really enjoy the forum. there is a lot of valuable information in here. from a riders perspective rather than from a magazine editors point of view. lots of tips and tricks, and it's a pleasant environment to meet people with a similar interest. i've established some friendships here that i would have not otherwise met. yeah, this forum rocks.
