THANK YOU!!! This has been driving me crazy, I am not an aggressive driver and found the abs kicks in anytime I am braking and hit a bump! Adding air to my shocks did seem to help a little (got the 09 Ultra with 0lbs from dealer, put 20lbs in recently).
Dawg ...is there a SB1239 for the '08s? If so, can post a linky? Hate to waste time trying to explain to the service writer what's this about when they don't have a clue, ...8]
HERE is the M1239 for 08's. It doesn't state that it is for the same issue as it states on the 09's as it only states that it is for the Michelin tires and whatnot. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm thinking on it after another poster advised it cured his "bump" activation of the ABS.
Took my 09 into Quaid Loma Linda HD today for the ABS calibration update. First off, they said it didn't exist. I gave them the service bulletin number, and they still acted like it didn't exist. Finally they found it in their computer system.
They go to update my bike, but their Digital Tech machine is not up-to-date with the new software. So they say they need to update their machine first, and for me to come back another day!

Yeah kudos to Dawg for this excellent information which apparently HD wants you to find out by accident (no pun intended). You'd think they would mail this to everyone who purchased an 09 bagger!
Thanks Dawg, mines going in monday and I will bring this up.
I just picked up my 09 Electra Glide and where the two brake lines run along the frame by the front of the tank one of them must be routed incorrectly because when I turn from full lock to full lock the lower cable ends up with a big loop hanging down. The end result is the line gets pinched between the frame and the right fork tube and it's damaging the line.
Figured that's something that should be fixed right away.
