Heres hoping it will be good enough to justify plugging the system back in.

King, based on the previous thread you started concerning the quality of the HD ABS system I don't think you will be 100% satisfied. It still will not be as good as your car.

Hardly a backflip Balthezar -- more like making a good system better.

Same exact thing happened to me when I took in my 08 RG for bulletin M1239. So I took it back the next day, and they reflashed it. Now the ABS light is off, but I still have the overly sensitive ABS on the rear brake. In fact, I think its worse than before! I had the 10,000 mile service done, told the guys about it and was told (lets all say it together now) "its normal".

Mine's going in again soon for a another service, so I will be asking again about this ABS issue.

Dawg, Will this reflash of the ecm overwrite the TTS or SEST custom map?

I had the the ABS flash done this past Tuesday, light came on on the way home. Dealer said it may clear itself, if not bring it back in for another flash. I have the PC5, and it did not seem to effect anything, but them again, the ABS is not working now.

The tech should have tested the ABS with their scanner before releasing the bike...I had mine done last week and they tested both front and rear brakes with the scan-a-lizer hooked up to assure they were functioning properly.
