I'm going to get some pricing from the dealership on making this move myself. I haven't found any negative press on them, so here goes. Will advise what i learn.
UPDATE:
The dealership I bought my '09 Electra Glide Classic from has quoted me $725 out the door. That covers the Fatshotz slip-ons, computer remapping download, and the SE Stage One Air Cleaner. (figure above includes a $75 labor charge, and an offer of a 15% discount on parts.)
How about the price for the slip on's only. Is there a pn?
Thanks
Meant to direct my post to chesterman, not crashin. I have a set of Suppertrapp Fat Shots on the way will let ya know what I think.
Stubby, I hope you like your fat shots and they work great for you. I just still have yet to see any facts that one flows better than the other. I have yet to hear of anybody that has actually taken one apart to see. I directed my question at Jamie because I would guess that a manufacturer who is going to comment on a competing product should have done a direct comparison already.

I'm just going by what Supertrapp told me. I sure like the looks of the SE's with the black end cap or ring!
Will let ya know what I think in a few days.

I got a quote from FuelMOTO for the Supertrapp, PC-V, an Air Cleaner and they were just a bit more. I'll have to check with my local dealer and see what they can do.
Everyone will have a different opinion. Here's mine
I like these pipes. The sound is surreal and low. They'll carack when you get a handful of throttle, yet mellow out at highway speed. Keeps the better half from yelling and can still hear the stereo.. These will be installed on my new 09 FLHT this Thursday.. Oh come on riding weather! I am so done with winter!
Tom
I put the HD FatShotz 2-1-2 on my FLHTK at the 1000 mile service with the SE Stage 1 air box and factory d/l. It's a little throatier but not really that noticable from the riders seat. Everyone at the shop or that I ride with tell me they like the sound as it builds up rpm's but at crusing speed it seems to just mellow out. I hear just a deep throaty steady rumble. I can live with it as I live in a hillside developement and these pipes will probably keep me out of trouble with my neighbors as I climb the hill to get out of here at 6 in the morning. I have noticed a measurable boost in preformance so I feel I made the right choice.
