Been looking for a light for the tour pak and had not seen or did not want to pay a lot for a simple light. I found this one at Wal-Mart its made by Lutron and sells for $4.96 plus you have to get some AAA (2) for it. The light is an led type and comes with a magnetic switch that has stickey tape backing so placement is a snap. The light has stickey back tape also.....very bright and automatic!!
If you are talking about the light inside the pak, I bought and installed the HD led light. A bit expensive but works great and looks like a factory install. I like the fact that it plugs into the existing wiring so no need to buy batteries or worry about them being dead. I didn't get the lights for the saddlebags as I thought those were a waste but the one for the pak is nice.
I picked up one of those head-strap lights from Home-depot. You know the ones, elastic strap you where around your head. Spot LED type light that's pretty darn bright. I cut the straps and attached it with Velcro to the underside of the tour pak. The only problem I think you might run into with any of these home grown solutions is that in hot weather any velcro or tape type attachment will eventually get too hot to stay stuck. I eventually used Gorilla Glue to stick the velcro to the pak and to the light. Now she stays just fine. The light I have has a red & white light. The red is nice if you don't want to kill your night vision. Light/glue and battery maybe 15.00 bucks.

Well, since I can't find it using the lame walley world search engine, what section of the store will I find it in?
Thanx. I'd been thinking about a light for the tour pak. Think it would it work in the saddle bags too?
