i just ordered the bigger baffles for my 09....i have the 1 3/4....that sound nice, but i wanted a little more volume....what needs to be done to the 09 bikes with the 2 inch baffles and stock air cleaner? i hear alot of conflicting answers
I don't know about the wild pig baffles but my dealer told me I could use the Rush 1.50" and 1.75" baffles with no changes to the a/c. But if I go bigger I would need the a/c and fueler. Hope this helps.
I got the 3 in. wild pigs slip-ons and I don't run any baffles at all, I also run a pcv and big sucker a/c and it has been tuned to match. They sound really great, a little (a lot) on the loud side but I do get many compliments on the sound
this is probably a stupid question but are wild pig the entire slip on muffler or do they sell baffles for the stock mufflers? there is nothing on their website so i am confused. thanks for the help
Wild pig mufflers are sold as a slip on replacement for the stock slip on.
they also sell different sized baffles for their slipons.
you can find them on ebay... there is a couple of vendors that sell them there.
It was also mentioned here that their baffles will fit the rush slipons but I dont think they are sold to fit other mufflers.
I'm pretty sure the baffles in the stock set up are not removable.
I bought a set off ebay with the stock size, 1.75" baffle, and very happy with them.
Hope this helps
