Default Thunderheader performance

Reading that thunderheader 2into1 have a flat spot in tuning is that true?

ya I have the dip around 2800. Bent tabs in inside muffler and had it retuned and it helped a little. I absolutely love the pipe just wish I could get more performance down low. Once you pass 3000-3200 rpm the pipe is top notch and sounds AWESOME!!!!

thanks for the info. thinking about swithing just cant decide between thunderheader and d &d s. I heard the d& ds just didnt seem to have quite the sound as the thunderheader not bad but different. From what I have heard the D & D are better on tuning, but the majority of people I know are running thunderheaders

Ive heard the same about the D&D. They produce better numbers on the low end. I have thought about makeing the change but just cant pull the trigger. The Thunderheader just sounds so damn good. Maybe if I had a chance to hear the D&D I would make the change. Dont see many of them in my area??? If you go with D&D let me know your thought on it.
