Bruce, I went with the Heritage Chrome bars. They are perfect for me - 6'1". I could pull them back even further, but have them just right. They were $50 at the dealer and in stock too. Putting them on isn't too bad, but have to take the nacelle and all that off. you'll want a manual if youre doing it yourself. Also, no need to change any of my lines with this swap either. Went with the HD nostalgia grips and like them as well. After the swap, I found that I had to go to the long stem mirrors to see past my shoulders though.
Also added the comfort stitch seat and it works fine for me. Take a round trip from Washington State to Tennessee and back each year and do several 600 mile back to back days without a problem. You may want to look into an Airhawk for the tailbone issue - it cured mine.
