I think I am going to bite the bullet and install a Jagg 10 row horizontal oil cooler on my 09 ultra. Looked at the HD...but actually liked the Jagg unit a bit better. HD wants a 3 hour labor charge to install thier unit...which would be about half the cost of the unit, which I think is a bit excessive to say the least! I am not the world's best wrench, but I think I can probably manage this.
Any advise, instruction, tips, warnings on "gotchas" would be appreciated!

Having the HD one installed on my bike this Friday while it's in for the first service. They quoted me 2 hrs regular install, but would only be 1.5 hrs if done during my first service. I guess either way they will get my hard earned money. Hope it performs as well as it did on my other bikes.
Also buy the anti-rotation tab for the filter adapter. It will prevent the filter adapter for turning when removing the oil filter at oil changes. You can install it, not a hard job at all. I also installed a temperature gauge at the same time.
I did the install of the Jagg and was amazed that I've got no leaks, weeps or drips. I think the best thing you can do is to remove your lowers and engine guard before the install. I didn't do it and had to wrestle with everything. I would also suggest lock-tite on the large adaptor nut and on the adaptor connecting bolts. I did it in a little over an hour. I've got about 500 miles of hot weather riding on it and still no problems. Seems to work well too. I'm glad I did it myself. Good luck!

Yeppers...had already planned on ordering that as well...and also the manual shutoff valve for cold weather.
Of course when I have read something about the install of an oil cooler with anti-rotation device I can not for the life of me find the thread where the guy doing his install talks about having to make a special tool up .
There is an oddball size of socket or is it an allen wrench that needs to be purchased ...
The guy generally finds out about it right about the time its getting close to closeing time at the local HH or HD ( home depot) or other local hardware store.
My advice is read the instructions once then twice , then go and find that lil piece of hardware before you tear into this project.
