Security system
Has anyone installed their own HD security system? Is it "plug and play"?
Own a 06 Ultra.
Also, anyone using the accessory socket from E-Glide goodies? Looks good and would power my Gerbings...Cellphone..Etc.
Sorry in advance, I'm going to have a lot of stupid questions, all of 175 miles on her now, loving it.............

Yes it is PnP with a qualification.
You must teach your ECM the password of the new TSSM you install.
The procedure is posted in the DIY section of the forum.
It takes about 30 minutes to install and 90 minutes to program.
The bike will not run until you teach the ECM the password.
Your other option is to haul it to a dealer and let them do it with the Digital Tech.
