TriGlide mileage

I have an 09 Triglide. 103 cu in with speed.

I have approx 1900 miles. Gettting 24- 28 mpg on highway with cruise

Runnning 70 and under. Dealer saying common problem with touring bikes -,, need to use only 5th gear except downhill etc.

What is everyone out there getting on their 103 cu in touring bikes an d TriGlides?? Has anyone had this problem or solved it??

According to the HD web site you should be getting 48 hwy / 33 city

To compair they say I should get 54 hwy / 35 city and I get around 40 to 43.

So you dealer is full of

I have a friend with a Triglide and he took it on a trip to Austin TX with us and his mileage sucked also. He's getting a little better now that it is getting broke in but I still don't think he's happy with it yet. I think he's wishing he had not gotten this bike. His like everyone else's trunk still leaks a little.
