As soon as the weather sets in in the north & northeast, the chaps, fingerless gloves, wave or not, bandana or skull cap threads will come back to the touring forum. Just that here it seems more seasonal & driven more by boredom. Also as very few people start out with a 680#+ touring bike as thier first ride. Most here have riddin long enough to have already made their decisions on these subjects & don't give a crap what others think.
Rini
Okay I'm confussed am I the a$$hole or am I the smart a$$ ?
I remember the softail section over there while I was riding the Fat Boy. My favorite story is we were having a great back and forth converstion about riding and how great our bikes were, giving advice to some other guys about our experiences. I mean this was going on really long for the softail side and then this guy who had been a major contirbuter in the conversation giving advice says: "Well I haven't riden it over 45 mph yet though". WWWWHHHAAATTTT ???????? I spit my coffee all over my monitor.
He was an expert on the forums, giving advice and he had never ridden over 45 mph. I still think about that and get a good laugh.
As I remember assless chaps and fingerless gloves is always a big topic over there too.
As a part-time azzhole and full time smartazz, gotta ask - ain't all chaps assless???
I dig the off-topic or off-bike stuff. It's more like a bunch of friends just hanging out and BS'ing. Some of my friends are A-holes, most Smart-A$$es, but all good guys. I don't think many guys down the bar talk about the beer.
I worry is more about jeanless chaps! A buddy of mine said something about me having "assless chaps". I responded by asking him why he has a zipper in back of his pants.
Locodude that was funny... you're loco...
Clint55 tank you for that post... nice...happy times yes.
Now what the fart is this about..? ahhh forget it....
oooh look beer...
I used to be a smart a$$ and a a$$ hole. Now I'm just an old dumb a$$, too old, tired, and beat up to put up much of a fight. -----And now that I think about it, It don't bother me too much.
Can I have a "AMEN BROTHER". hehehehehehehehehe.........me too.
