I just saw what bike you have. On my 06 FLHT I had four horns in 18 months ( all paid for by HD ) water ingress is the problem, sometimes spraying WD40 into the horn helps.

Sounds lke the same problem I had with my stock horn. I think they become damaged if they get water in them. I replaced it with another original stock horn and have had no more problems.

Pushed the horn button on my 06 today and it sounded like
a dying bullfrog,horn may be heading south.

Hello all, first post here but have been gleaming info from here for about a year, and you guys rock! Seached horn problem today and found this thread, went to Auto Zone and picked up the 132db horn (High Tone). A little tight around the terminals and the bell protrudes a little out the bottom of the cover, but for $19.99 it's a steal and very loud. Thanks again!

Thats the one I got. I think it was the E model. Highway Blaster. Got it at Pep Boys.




I got the "Black" one because my bike is black.
