Does anybody know what the difference is with the 2009 touring frame that will not allow the use of a 2007 engine guard ? ? ?

 

you're already aware that the 09 and newer frame is different than the 08 and earlier. i hadn't thought about there being a difference with the crash bar. i know that they do make a moustache bar for the 09 and newer bikes, as i've seen it on the cvo streetglides. that's a good question though.
