Every bike's tune is a little different. I had only added slipons to my '07 NT and it pinged like a ****. Everybody said that the computer would compensate but I didn't find that to be true. A lot of folks are running around with just slipons and no tune and getting by with it. Personally, I wouldn't do it. You have so much more to gain by putting a PCV or similar fuel mangement system on your bike. Cooler running, better fuel economy, overall driveability (rideability?) is considerably better, etc. Just my $.02

I agree with this, after putting on the Jackpot power package (SEAC/PCV) it's like I'm on a completely different bike. The extra $$$ was well worth it.

You have the option of three different baffle systems. I bought the middle set, 1.75 inch. Sounded great, deep tone.
After 8,000 miles the packing got pushed up on the baffle (didn't see it till I went to put the quieter ones in) and they got a bit loud for the Mrs, she got headaches. Went to the 1 .5 baffles, about 1/3 less noise.
If you go with the tuner and AC, the power is up just like their web site says. I don't doubt but what I got every ft lb of torque they claim. Feels like a new bike. So if I were to do it again, I would spend the money on a better more versital tuner than the pcIII, one that the closest dyno guru I know is very competent with, and have him tune it. It might be more than you want to spend, but getting 43 mpg beats getting 39.5, and you will probably see more hp in the process. At the very least, over the life of the bike you will regain some of the $$ for gas, and being able to go a bit further on a fill is a plus.

They are louder than stock, if you crack it, they will bark. They have a nice deep throaty sound and are pleasant at cruise, no problem listening to the radio. You can also ride quietly through the neighborhood so you don't upset anyone leaving at O'Dark thirty on a weekend ride.

I think they are perfect for what I was looking for....To be sure they are what you want, listen to the clips on Fuelmoto's website and if you can, also listen to a set in person.

I agree with all of this. The only thing I would add is, I have the Jackpot power package on my Ultra and the Rinehart power package on my RKC and I would put the sound level of the Jackpots right half-way between stock and the Rineharts. The sound QUALITY on either of them however kicks the stock pipe's a$$! Nice and low and deep.

They are 1.9db louder than stock, which doesn't sound like much but in fact represents a 24% increase. With a stock engine (i.e. no cam upgrade) and the standard right-wide baffle (2.0") the sound is throaty and for my taste not loud enough to drown out the stereo or make my ears ring after a long ride. After installing a cam upgrade the loudness increased, and even after installing a smaller 1.75" right-side baffle it is still a tad louder than stock with the 2.0".
