Default Rear Shock Push-In Air Fittings

I have a 2006 Road King, I need to replace the broken crossover (air-line) to my rear shocks. The bike only has 15,000 miles on it but It's old enough that I've decided to replace all the airlines & fittings.
Soooo my question is, how do you remove the air line from Push-In fittings? I was able to slide out one of the the orange keepers but the air line tubing is jammed in so tight I fear of breaking something inside the Tee fitting if I pull on it any harder.
What gives, any tips, tricks, ideas or techniques?

You're not supposed to remove the "orange keeper". The "orange keeper" is actually the release mechanism. You push it in, not pull it out, to release the tubing.

Or you can do what I did and get rid of the air leaks all together. There are side effects however: better ride and much improved handling! And you don't have to check air pressure any longer!

I tried to air my shocks this morning before riding wouldn't hold pressure (DAM) so i rode all day with no air in them.
So got home from a wonderful day of riding took saddle bags off put the smallest of air from compressor in and heard the leak so glad the shocks wasn't bad. Just from line rubbing on something i had a car check valve that i temporary used to couple line together now it's holding pressure. Now to order new lines
