OKOK guys, the GW comment was off the cuff and obviously touched a few nerve endings. In all honesty I would never consider one because of the riding position so lets get over that. From all the comments that the posting has rec'd I am going to change the fork oil and will go with better tires in the spring. I admit that I like to ride the bike hard especially in the twisties so perhaps panheadaches comment of ridin' within the design is the next option....thanks to all

I have an '07 SG with about 7000 miles on it. Lately going around curves where there are any bumps the handling sucks. It pogo's around and isn't very reassuring. I had it in to the dealer thinking the forks were a little soft and the only thing they did was tighten the engine mounts and steering head with no improvement. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? The forks do not and have never leaked. Are there different weights of fork oil for different regions?
