Hello everyone,

I've been lurking for awhile, reading and learning as much as I can, but today I pulled the trigger on an '09 Road King in Sunglo red.

I had the dealer deliver it because I live out of town and it came off the trailer just a half hour or so before a hail storm. It is safely tucked in the garage behind my truck, but I have not even taken a ride on it yet.

I am hoping for sunny skies tomorrow and I have a feeling *cough* I'll be too sick for work. Just wanted to share my excitement. I owned a Sporster 30 years ago, but this is my first big bore Harley.

Oh the days of being a lurker. If you haven't been on a bike in 30 years, like me about six or seven years ago, take it easy for a while. It can take some time to get used to that big bike. Congratulations on the new RK. Love that color.
