RK Custom Handle Bars
Is there anyone that has installed the Road King Custom handle bars on a regular Road King? It appears this would help the reaching issue for me.
Would the use of this bar require cable changes?
I have a new 06 Road King with 900 miles, not impressed with stock bars that came with the bike. I am 5'10" and 190 lbs.

Same here. I hated the stock bars and my elbows killed me on a long ride. I replaced them with the Reduced Reach Road King Bars, which are narrower and bring the controls closer to the rider. Much more comfortable now.
I did not replace the cables but I did have to order the wiring extension kit.

Hey Banjo,
Was the extension kit hard to put in? I'm thinking of going to reduced reach also for my 06 Classic. I've logged about 4,000 miles since I got it at the end of April. My back is starting to get a little sore.[8D]
