Does it put you more forward than the stock seat? I really need something to keep my tailbone pain from ending my ride, but I'm 6'1" and don't want to be cramped.
Does anybody know the difference between the older Zeppelin seats and the one released for 2008 Touring bikes (51072-09)? I don't get HD's applicability description either -- "Fits '08-later Touring and FLHTCUTG models. (Does not fit FLHTXXX.)" What the heck is a FLHTXXX?
The only differences are the fitament(sp?) (due to the frame change between 07 and the newer models) and the switches for the seat. The seats for the newer models have the switches a little farther out - sort of separate from the seat, so the 'heavier' riders can't activate the switches while just sitting on the seat. If you're 300+ it seems that the weight of that person would cause the switches to depress. Also, the seat for the 08 and up does not come in full leather.
