I reset the trip meter and do the math every time I fill up. My '04 Road King with SE/AC, stage 1 and stock mufflers got around 45 mpg. With the PC5 and Fuel Moto map it gets around 40 mpg but runs stronger with no more spitting back through the intake off-idle.
I am heavy on the throttle from 1st-4th gear and i cruise in 4th gear around 60 mph.if i get on the highway its 5th gear around 70-75mph. any faster over 75 i'll go to 6th gear.

Thanks for the info: But I think I see your problem.

and I don’t have 107 lbs of torque to feed fuel too and I get around 40 to 43. I don’t think you have a problem with the setup. I don’t think your driving is going to get 40 mpg. Lots of city driving gunning it around, will kill your mileage.
I think you are right.I just got back from this mechanic who own a shop called lucky cycles www.luckycycles.net and the guy was great. He hooked up his laptop to my thundermax and what he noticed was something called the decelerator was on 0 he changed it to 1. he said something to the effect of when i would come off of the thottle it would still send fuel to the throttle[i hope i am explaining it right].He also noticed in my riding that at certain rpm's the bike was wanting more fuel as i turned the throttle so he fixed that so it stayed even through out in the graph. After i got off the computer here earlier before going to see this guy i looked at my tach and noticed i went 95 miles already and not even at half tank yet but that is going basicly the speed limit this last fill up which was yesterday putting in 4.3 gallons so today i see this guy in owings,md roundtrip 60 miles and i am at 153 miles now and the gas light has not come on yet,so their maybe hope yet.
I want to mention about this luckcycles shop which is amazing because this shop was only 30 miles from my house and on top of that the guy who owns it use to work on the same police department with me in which he left some 4yrs ago.
The guys name is Jim Purdy and he has about 3 different custom bikes he has built in magazines.
Hey i want thank all you guys on here for your help truely i do and thank you.

usually when your gas light comes on you have about 1 gallon left in the tank so that would make your 31mpg estimation incorrect. You have a 5 gallon tank so if you divide 4 into 151 that puts you about 37mpg which could be considered normal depending on your riding style.
Yesterday my gas light came on at 163 miles and at 170 miles the neddle was on empty and as i was slowing down to come to a light and down shifted the bike started to turn off like it was completely out of gas so i went directly to the gas station and put in 4.9 gallons.
