What say we here on the Forum design jeans that have discreet outside upper thigh vents. When standing, you'd hardly notice them because they would hang closed, but when going down the road, they'd pop open and provide a stream of cooling air across "da boys." That should fix the problem for even the most profuse sweaters out there. Any royalties could go to a fund to help down Forum members. Crazy, huh?
I wear UnderArmour compression shorts. I know just what you're talking about, and it doesn't happen anymore. Also, I no longer feel like I'm sittin' on a rope after awhile, from wearing regular Hanes-type briefs.

I just tried Under Armour shorts on a six day 2500 mile ride and was very satisfied with them. I only needed two pair as I washed them every night. Probably could have gotten by with one pair. Also used silk socks and got by with two pair of those by washing them every night also.
The shorts wick away moisture and prevent you from developing any kind of rash on your azz or back of the thighs from sitting and sweating on the seat all day. At least they worked for six days.
