good stuff man, i have thought about it....then i got rid of my suspension and said the hell with it, guess all bikers THINK about it.....good for you for DOING it
I have my route all planned for my 1000 mile ride on Oct 1st. My next duty station is in CA and my family is already there. I will be riding from Corpus Christi, TX to Chandler, AZ (Heart Attack Grill). It is calculated at roughly 1100 miles and I figure I'do it in around 18 hours. After that awesome double bypass burger I'm gonna tool on over to the otherside of Phoenix and catch a hotel room for the night, then I'll fininsh the other 400.
Super job! That's a real accomplishment. Although I've done nearly the 1000 in 24hrs, I've never really done the official ride with paperwork and got it certified. You've got me thinking it's something I need to do, just for the pure enjoyment of saying "I did it"... Well done, and congrats.
