The accuracy of my speedometer to the Zumo depends on the mileage on the rear tire. When new, the spedo pretty much matches the Zumo. When getting worn out, the spedo reads 2 to 3 mph faster than the Zumo...

Some people wonder who to trust, the speedo, the gps or the roadside radar devices. No need to trust any of them. Just get out on an interstate with a stopwatch and set your cruise where the speedo is reading 60 mph. When you get even with a milemarker post, start the stopwatch. When you get even with the next one, stop it. If it says anything other than 60 seconds, you will know your speedo is not accurate, how much it is off and if it is reading slow or fast.

GPS has a margin of error as well. While y'all are doing all that precise measuring, don't forget to enjoy the ride...
