At 90 degrees its hot behind my roadglide fairing/windshield. The perforated leather jacket was uncomfortable. Has anyone tried a vented windshield. I looked at Clearshield's, $48 extra for the vented Roadglide model. Does it work? Any problems-like obstructed view-more noise?

Yep, sure does. I usually ride it everywhere, but, I wanted my bike to understand how your Harley feels. hehhehheh.
It told me it does NOT like the feeling, so I took it off the truck,
then went on a fun 420 mile round-trip the next day....to a Dairy Queen no less. and visited a Harley owning friend of mine.
BTW....if you notice no license plate, I just purchased it that day.
