No mandatory law here. Always start out with either a 1/2 or full depending on weather. But sometimes out on those long lonesome highways, or mountain twisities, I shed the lid for a little freedom. Probably shouldn't, but it's very inspirational and sometimes downright spiritual being so free and close to God. Think about it....
I am all for helmet laws. Safer noggins = Less insurance cost.
Of course, I am aware some don't believe they are safer, but...I think that's the minority.
I wear a half nearly all the time, but I am interested in a comfortable 3/4 that does not have its shell resonate a deep base sound in the wind. I have a new Shoei RJ Platinum R 3/4 and its not for me. Just doesn't fit my big round head right.
