Thanks
38649-08 clutch cable for $34 and a tranny side cover for a few bucks and exhaust gaskets because you have to drop the exhaust to get to the tranny side cover. The bars are about $70. All in all it will be about $150 for you in parts.

You can get by without throttle cables, but it's tight. When I had the bars on my 04 I ended up changing out the throttle/idle cables also. Wires do not need extending.

So you didn;t have to extend any of the electrical? TBW?

Why did you have to replace the tranny side cover?

Did it put your hands in the airstream?

I'm having the +2 Sweepers put on right now. I've been running the standard Sweepers but they put me forward a little too much and I get the neck/shoulder pain with them. I'm only 5'10 though. Someone 6'2" might like them just fine.

My experence is YES - it does a little

In going to the khrome werks web page

the measurments of these bars are almost the same as the Wild1 575 but of course a lot cheaper...

Khrome werks

Wide 34.07
Endrise / tall 10.83
pull back 12.13

Wild1 575

wide 34.5
endrise/tall 10
pull back 13

great for taller people but us short guys - the width is often just a little too much...

Very hard for someone to shop bars without trying them out...

there could be a group of us and all sit on a bike, even if we are the same size - doesn't mean we will all like the same bar..

problem is, changing bars is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

ooops, I meant tranny side cover gasket (to change clutch cable). No electrical or TBW extension. I don't think my hands are in the airstream

Yes TBW is internal. It's a fairly easy job to swap out.
